Cheesy Mini Pizza Burgers

Instructions

1. Make the Patties

  • Add ground beef to a bowl.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Mix gently until combined—don’t overwork the meat.
  • Divide into equal portions and shape into small patties, slightly larger than the buns.

2. Cook the Patties

  • Heat a lightly oiled skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked.
  • Remove from heat and let rest briefly.

3. Prepare the Buns

  • Slice buns in half if needed.
  • Lightly toast them in a pan or oven to add flavor and prevent sogginess.

4. Assemble the Mini Burgers

  • Arrange bottom buns on a baking sheet.
  • Spoon pizza sauce onto each bun.
  • Add a cooked patty, followed by another spoonful of sauce.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and any optional toppings.
  • Finish with the top bun halves.

5. Bake to Finish

  • Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature.
  • Bake for 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, cool slightly, and serve warm.
